National Park
Discover the Horton Plains National Park, Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau with an elevation of 2,134 metres. Jaffna Nallur Kandaswamy Temple
Hindu TempleNallur Kandaswamy temple is one of the most impressive religious buildings in Jaffna and one of the most significant Hindu temple complexes in the country dedicated to God Murugan. The kovil’s 15th-century structure was vandalized by the Portuguese in the 17th century and the current structure was rebuilt in 1734.

Biggest Library The Jaffna Library was once considered as one of the biggest libraries in Asia. It was first built in 1933 and was burnt down by the Sinhalese mob in 1981. This is an important event in the civil war and lead to the long war in the North and East of Sri Lanka.
